In a world of busy convenience, sometimes it is nice just to go back to basics and enjoy the true artistry of freshly Shawn wool being turned into something spectacular. Now that you own one of our works of art, we bestow upon you the instructions for how to care for it - follow for the best care possible.

Your item is made out of either fleece, wool or a combination of our favourite fibres grown on the farm at Rare Flocks Farm. These fibres have high levels of lanolin, giving the wool its perfect water proof qualities and lovely 'farm' smell. To make sure this all remains, hand washing in approved, high quality dye wash is the ideal process These products cannot go into a washing machine circumstances. Water temperature should be cool to lukewarm only. Hot water shrinks and felts the natural proteins found in your wool. This will ruin your item.

Place on a flat towel, arrange into shape, and allow to dry, preferably in a shady airy spot. Allow a few days for this process, depending on your weather conditions.
You can if you need to speed the drying process up, place your item in a pillow case, knot the top tight to ensure it is held securely, and put it on a short spin cycle only (no rinsing) of your washing machine.
